Haiku Workshop

Led by Gary Roberts
Free and open to the public. RSVP requested. All ages and experience levels.

Learn about the haiku form in all its variety. Write your own haiku and collaborate with others using casual haiku games. We will look at some examples from famous poets for appreciation of the form’s potential. The theme of “summer” will guide us and we will also explore the imagery of Will Tenney’s photography for inspiration. The workshop will include ample writing and sharing time, and chances to get and give feedback on our work. No prior poetry experience needed!
