All ages and levels welcome. All materials provided. A two hour guided paint session for you to create your own Palestinian landscape on canvas. Leave with a beautiful decorative artwork and a deeper sense of the beauty of Palestine. We will serve baklava and mint tea. You will be invited to participate in a conversation with your fellow painters. All event proceeds will be donated directly to families in Gaza.

Nina Abbas is an artist and architectural designer originally from Baghdad, Iraq. She has a background in architectural design, and currently practices at an interior design firm in Newton. Her creative journey spans a diverse range of mediums, including painting, digital design, drawing, model making, 3D printing, product design, and photography. Nina’s architectural experience deeply informs her artwork, particularly her sketches of urban landscapes from her homeland. Through her art, she seeks to capture fleeting moments of the city, preserving the essence of the urban environment. With simple techniques of layer and color, she can capture any landscape from paint to canvas.
