“World On Its Head” is a cumulative exhibition to mark the decades-long career of Medford-based photographer Will Tenney.
Will Tenney’s photographs have been exhibited widely in the Boston area. ACM is thrilled to assist Will in offering his work to the public in a new way while giving back to his community. Marking the last full exhibition of his career, Will invites the viewer to reflect with him for a final time.
All proceeds from the sales of these works will be in support of Arts Collaborative Medford and CACHE in Medford

The Medford Jazz Festival; Welcome Night Jam
The first night of the 2024 Medford Jazz Festival, featuring Kathy Olson and the Achilles Heal Saxophone Quartet at 8 pm. Students from Morningside Music Studio will play an opening set and lead a jam session starting at 6 pm.
Art & Soul Circle: "...and then there was Light"
The experience of loss is both universal and unique. Through poignant paintings and a collection of original poems, this body of work beautifully and stunningly navigates the complexities of Grief.
This Art & Soul Circle will gently hold these shared human truths and guide participants toward Light. Whatever your relationship with loss - you will find love, space, and light in this circle of shared reflections.
Rev. Wendy Miller Olapade & Chaplain Katie Willis will facilitate the dialogue.
Behind the Scenes: Comic Pages
Ever wondered how the storyline ends up on the page from your favorite comic? Now is your chance to learn! Come listen to a panel discussion with local comic artists Anna Christine, Art Ducky, and EKidd as they chat about panel design, and how an idea becomes an illustrated storyline. Swap ideas about the creative process, get some new ideas or your own, and meet the artists behind your favorite medium. Free, open to the public.
Spheres of Influence presents "Indigo Skyline: Reflections On Nature"
This is a free community event with a suggested donation of $15
Pre-concert discussion at 6:30 pm. Performance at 7 pm.
Join John Dalton’s Spheres of Influence as they present a set of original compositions inspired by the natural world, in partnership with Medford Jazz, the Medford Arts Council, and Arts Collaborative Medford. Come before the performance for a pre concert discussion on various methodologies of composition, improvisation, performance and how they can be used to express and reflect the beauty of the natural world. Come participate in this free community event with a suggested donation of $15.

"More Than Acquaintances" Closing Reception
Join us for our final Closing Reception where we'll have a brief artist recap and talk about the show, as well as something you've all been asking and waiting for... A raffle for one of the pieces on display!
A portion of the proceeds from the raffle will be donated to Missions of Virtue, a non-profit that donates food, clothing, and everyday necessities to the women and their families in Jamaica who are struggling and need them, as well as provides sponsorship for these women to further their education and/or begin their own businesses. Please reach out directly to admin@artscollabmedford.org if you're unable to make it to the reception but still want to participate in the raffle.

Join John Dalton’s Spheres of Influence as they present a set of original compositions reflecting on the various crises of our era, in partnership with Medford Jazz, the Medford Arts Council, and Arts Collaborative Medford. We live in an era of acute and immediate issues, ranging from the environmental, to the social and political. Art gives us a framework in which to process these complex problems. Arrive early for a pre concert discussion on various methodologies of composition, improvisation, performance and how they can be used to express social and political themes. Music allows us to conceive of better ways of collaborating, communicating, and organizing ourselves.
"Unlimited Sequence" Opening Reception
Presented by the SMFA Graphic Novel Club, please join us for "Unlimited Sequence", the inaugural exhibition in ACM's literary corner. Featured are the original graphic novels of nine SMFA Graphic Novel Club members as well as the club's annual publication of Blot Magazine. “More Than Acquaintances” A Showcase By Michael Talbot
More Than Acquaintances explores the delicately intertwined relationship between Life and Death through the lens of an old Caretaker, and a young Flower Girl, his daughter. This showcase urges viewers to consider their own assumptions and understanding of what it means for someone to truly live, as well as to truly die.
Michael Talbot is a Jamaican-born artist, trained in digital and traditional mediums. He has been working as a Freelance Artist and Visual Story-teller in Boston since 2012.

After months of anticipation, Arts Collaborative Medford is hosting it's first official Open House! This event is for the community to come inside and see what we've been working on. “More Than Acquaintances” is a showcase by Michael Talbot that explores the delicately intertwined relationship between Life and Death through the lens of an old man living with his young daughter, as they traverse through endless fields of flowers engulfed by the vast night sky. The aim of this showcase is to highlight these correlated states of being, while urging the viewers to consider their own assumptions and understanding of what it means for someone to truly live, as well as to truly die.
